We have had many enquiries asking about the
design and development of the Ulike Sites. So the following pages are
intended to show the amount of work that goes into producing a professional
website.
The original concept of the Ulike Websites
was developed by Graham Jones in 2000, as the various sites have become more
popular, we have implemented new database technologies to provide faster and
more comprehensive access to our directory listings.
The design of a successful Website depends
on many factors not least of which is the overall layout, a
website should be easy to use and pleasing to view, we have employed the
skills of a professional Graphics Design Company, namely; Mole End Design to
design the layout of all the new Ulike Sites.
In addition we commissioned a local artist,
Sue White, to produce much of the original artwork which was then passed to
Lorraine Connelly of Mole End Design to be scanned and optimised for the
Website.
You can view the original artwork used to
produce our Takeaways Logo's and find out more about the people behind the
scenes by clicking below.
